NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University Football travels to Atlanta to take on Georgia State on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 3:30 p.m.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and broadcast on ESPN Radio 94.1.
• ODU is coming off a 46-20 loss to James Madison in the TowneBank Royal Rivalry.
• Georgia State defeated Northern Illinois 35-14 last week in Atlanta.
• Quarterback Ryan Huff made his first career start last week against the Dukes. He completed 20-of-39 passes for 261 yards, a touchdown and interception. His 261 yards were the most by an ODU quarterback making his first career start.
• Wide receiver TJ Johnson had a career day with five receptions for 105 yards. It was the first 100-yard game by an ODU receiver this season.
• Mario Easterly and Lucas struck each had 11 tackles. Easterly added a pass breakup, while Struck had a tackle for loss to go along with his career high 11 stops.
Huff Makes First Start
Quarterback Ryan Huff made his first career start last week against JMU, starting for an injured Quinn Henicle. Huff completed 20-of-39 passes for 261 yards, one touchdown and an interception.
His 261 yards were the most by an ODU making their first career start.

Haughton Getting a Chance
Coming into the season, tight end Leon Haughton Jr. had seven catches for 79 yards and a touchdown in his four years at Maryland. All he needed was a chance. In his first four games at ODU, Haughton has eight receptions for 104 yards and two touchdowns.
He had a career best four receptions for 49 yards and a 23-yard touchdown grab against JMU.
Johnson Emerges
TJ Johnson transferred to ODU last year from SW Mississippi but caught just four passes and had a touchdown in the win at Virginia Tech.
Johnson caught five passes for 105 yards against James Madison, both career highs. He had a 36-yard reception that set up ODU’s fist touchdown, and then a 42-yarder that got ODU in field goal range.
