SOUTH KINGDOM, RI. – Old Dominion Sailing competing in three different states in three different competitions with the team competing in Rhode Island leading the way with a third-place finish.

In the Moody Trophy event, Diogo Silva and Lindey Kaufmann finished in sixth place in Division A and B Division, with Marina Conde and James O’Leary finishing in seventh place.

The Carol Van Duyne was a singlehanded event led by Blade Goodwin and Pierce Brindley.

Finishing in seventh place was Goodwin with a score of 61. Behind finishing in 11th place was Brindley with a score of 84.

ODU finished with a team ninth place finish at Women's Atlantic Coast Championships Round 1A. 

Gianna Dewey and Madison Bivins finished Division A with a ninth-place finish and Division B with Arabella Duer, Esther Ireland, Petra Humphrey and Molly Hanson finished in eighth place.

The Monarchs have another busy weekend as they compete in three competitions this coming weekend at Open ACC Prelims in New London, Conn. at Oyster Bowl in St. Mary’s City, Md. and at Webb/Woolum in Newport News, Va.
