NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion women’s golf is headed to Asheboro, North Carolina to play in the Tot Hill Farm Invitational this week.
College of Charleston is hosting the Invitational at the par-72, 6,023-yard course at Tot Hill Farm Golf Club. Originally scheduled for 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday, the opening round of the tournament has been moved up to a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start on Sunday to avoid inclement weather expected in the area. The Invitational will still play 36 holes on Monday, and fans will be able to follow along with live stats on Scoreboard.
The field will consist of 13 teams. Along with ODU and Charleston will be Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Eastern Kentucky, Elon, Gardner-Webb, North Carolina A&T, Presbyterian, Queens University of Charlotte, Radford, Western Carolina and Wofford.
ODU’s lineup will include Puneet Bajwa, Barbara Car, Ludovica Girola, Alina Shchepteva, and Mariana Arronte.
The Monarchs are coming off a ninth-place finish at the Lady Paladin Invitational last week. Puneet Bajwa was named the Sun Belt Women’s Golfer of the Week after tying for seventh with a four-under par 212.
