NORMAN, Okla. – Old Dominion men’s golfers Jacob Gunther, Kaijun Ma, and Philip Minnehan have been named 2024-25 Cobalt All-America Scholars, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Tuesday.

The trio are among 556 NCAA Division I athletes representing 190 schools to be named All-America Scholars for 2024-25. To be eligible for the award, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III or NAIA, or receiving their associate’s degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must have participated in at least 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.

This is the third time in his career that Gunther has been named a GCAA All-America Scholar and it is the second time for both Ma and Minnehan.
