NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s golf rounds out its regular season this Monday and Tuesday at the Irish Creek Collegiate, hosted by App State at The Club at Irish Creek in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
The course at Irish Creek is 7,001 total yards with a par of 70.
The tournament will feature 36 holes of continuous play on Monday and the final 18 holes on Tuesday, with both days beginning with 8:30 a.m. shotgun starts. Live stats will be available through GolfGenius.
A total of 15 teams will compete in the Collegiate, with lineups from App State, Charleston Southern, Francis Marion, Howard, Jacksonville State, Lehigh, Marquette, Maryland Eastern Shore, Morehead State, North Carolina A&T, Old Dominion, Presbyterian, Queens, Radford and Western Kentucky. Additionally, Charlotte and Coastal Carolina will send individuals.
Making the lineup for ODU are Kaijun Ma, Jakub Sutor, Jacob Gunther, Philip Minnehan, Cullen Campbell and James Page.
The Monarchs finished fourth at last year’s Irish Creek Collegiate with a nine-over par 849. Gunther was the top finisher, tying for ninth with an even score of 210. Jakob Chicoyne tied for 13th with a two-over 212 and Ma shot a four-over 214 to tie for 19th.
