MADISON, Miss. – Old Dominion men’s golf is in Madison, Mississippi this week to compete in the Sun Belt Championship, which will be held April 21-24 at Annandale Golf Club.
Annandale is a par-72 course that is 7,157 total yards.
The tournament will begin with three rounds of stroke play this Monday through Wednesday, with teams teeing off from split tees beginning at 9:30 a.m. ET. The top four teams will then advance to match play on Thursday, with the No. 1 seed facing the No. 4 seed and the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds squaring off in the other semifinal. The championship match will then tee off following the conclusion of the semifinal matches.
All 14 teams in the conference will compete in the tournament. All three rounds of stroke play, as well as Thursday’s semifinal and championship matches, will be streamed on ESPN+. Fans can also follow with live stats on Scoreboard.
ODU’s lineup will include Jacob Gunther, Kaijun Ma, Cullen Campbell, Philip Minnehan and Jakub Sutor with Garret Cameron as an alternate.
The Monarchs finished tied for 12th place in the team standings last year with a combined 54-hole total of 904 (+40). Jakob Chicoyne led the team with a two-over par 218 to tie for 12th place.
