NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s tennis challenges James Madison in the Sun Belt Conference quarterfinals on Friday, April 18.
The match begins at 10 a.m. at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Georgia. Fans can stream all matches on ESPN+ with live stats available through iOnCourt.
Old Dominion finished its regular season undefeated in the SBC, holding a 14-8 overall record. James Madison is 7-11 overall with a 1-6 conference record, the only win coming from a close 4-3 victory over Southern Miss last weekend.
The Monarchs downed the Dukes earlier this month by a 4-0 score on their home court, and with another win over their in-state rival, ODU will play either No. 4 Troy or No. 5 Louisiana at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 19. The championship game is set for Sunday, April 20 at 1 p.m.
Old Dominion moved up to 56th in the ITA, with Connor Van Schalkwyk coming in at 123rd for singles and 84th for doubles alongside brother Codie Van Schalkwyk.
