NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion Sailing Team participated in a pair of races this past weekend hosted by Yale and Navy.
At the Yale Women’s Team Race, the Monarchs finished in eighth place out of eight teams with a record of 1-6. Their lone win came against Bowdoin College in round one.
The skippers at this race were Marina Conde, Olivia Gilmore, and Gianna Dewey, with the crew being Isabelle Kanach, Kristin Johnson, Allison Volk, and Morgan Auth.
At the Prosser Trophy Team Race hosted by Navy, the Monarchs finished in seventh out of eight teams there. They also finished with a record of 1-6, with their only win being against Fordham in round one.
The skippers at this race were Diogo Silva, Pierce Brindley, and Blake Goodwin, with the crew being Molly Hanson, Lindsey Kaufmann, and Cadence Goodnight.
