NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s golf will play in the Ironwood Collegiate Classic this Monday and Tuesday in Greenville, North Carolina. Hosted by East Carolina at Ironwood Golf & Country Club, the course features a par of 72 and is 7,120 total yards.
Both days will begin with 9 a.m. shotgun starts, with teams playing 36 holes of continuous play on Monday. Fans unable to attend will be able to follow along with live stats provided by Scoreboard.
The 15-team field will include App State, Barton College, ECU, Florida A&M, Florida Atlantic, Gardner-Webb, Long Island, North Carolina A&T, ODU, Presbyterian, Queens Univ. of Charlotte, Temple, UCF, UMES and West Georgia.
Making the lineup for the Monarchs are Kaijun Ma, Jakub Sutor, Philip Minnehan, Jacob Gunther and Cullen Campbell.
Last year saw the Monarchs finish seventh out of 14 teams at the Ironwood Collegiate Classic with a combined two-under par 862. Alumni Jakob Henriksson led the team with a seven-under 209 to tie for seventh while Jacob Gunther finished at three-under 213 to tie for 13th.
