NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men's golf opens play at the 2024 Cutter Creek Intercollegiate on Friday at Cutter Creek Golf Club in Snow Hill, North Carolina.
Elon and East Carolina are co-hosting the three-day tournament, which will have tee times off the first and 10th holes beginning at 8 a.m. each day. The Intercollegiate will run from Friday through Sunday and live stats will be available through GolfStat.
The tournament will include a total of 15 teams in the field. In addition to Elon, ECU and ODU will be lineups from Campbell, Charleston Southern, Davidson, Delaware, Gardner-Webb, Harvard, Presbyterian, Radford, Rhode Island, Robert Morris, Sandhills CC and Winthrop.
ODU's lineup will consist of Jacob Gunther, Jakob Chicoyne, Kaijun Ma, Jakob Henriksson, Kazuki Yamauchi, and Cullen Campbell.
The Monarchs finished third out of 10 teams at last year's Cutter Creek Intercollegiate with a 54-hole total of 883 (+19). Chicoyne was the top finisher for the Monarchs, tying for ninth with a four-over par 220 for the tournament. Aleksander Bjorge posted the best individual round for ODU, a four-under 68 on the final day.
