NORFOLK, Va. – After finishing second at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate on Oct. 22-24 to finish its fall season, the Old Dominion's golf team is headed to Palm Desert, California to begin its spring campaign at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate.
The University of Wyoming is hosting the three-day tournament this week from Tuesday to Thursday at The Classic Club. Beginning with a 12 p.m. EST start on Tuesday, the course features a par of 72 and is 7,322 yards. ODU will tee off from the 9th and 10th holes for Tuesday's opening round.
Among ODU and the host Cowboys, the rest of the field includes Cal Baptist, Cal State Fullerton, Charlotte, CSU-Northridge, Drake, Grand Canyon, New Mexico, Oral Roberts, Sacramento State, Seattle, Southern Utah, Tarleton State, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UCSB and Utah Tech. In addition, Colorado will have three individuals and Loyola Marymount will have two at the Intercollegiate.
ODU's lineup includes Jacob Gunther, Kaijun Ma, Jakob Henriksson, Kazuki Yamauchi and Jakob Chicoyne.
