ODU Men's Golf Headed to Puerto Rico to Play in UNCG's Dorado Beach Collegiate

NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men's golf continues its spring season this Sunday through Tuesday at the Dorado Beach Collegiate, hosted by UNC Greensboro at the Dorado Beach Resort and Club in Dorado, Puerto Rico.

The three-day tournament will be played on TPC Dorado Beach's Sugarcane Course, which has a par of 72 and is 7,112 total yards. The first two rounds will begin with a 7:30 a.m. EST shotgun start, and Tuesday's final round will have a 7 a.m. EST shotgun start. Fans can follow the tournament with live stats provided by GolfStat.

The 16-team field will consist of Army, Ball State, Bryant, Butler, Denver, George Mason, Illinois State, Kent State, Maryland, Old Dominion, Southern Miss, ULM, UNC Greensboro, UTSA, Valparaiso and Winthrop.

This will be the third-straight year that the Monarchs will compete in UNCG's tournament. ODU finished 13th in the team standings in both 2022 and 2023. Aleksander Bjorge led the team last year, tying for 44th with an even score of 216. Jakob Chicoyne and Kaijun Ma followed with a pair of two-over 218s to tie for 51st.
 
ODU's lineup will consist of Ma, Jacob Gunther, Jakob Henriksson, Chicoyne and Cullen Campbell with Kazuki Yamauchi competing as an individual.
