About ODU
The Monarchs are coming off a nine-day break as they dropped an 86-77 decision on November 13 at 14th-ranked Arkansas. ODU (1-2) kept pulling to a one-or-two possession game, but Arkansas would keep the Monarchs at arms distance down the stretch.
Chaunce Jenkins scored 21 points with seven rebounds, while Devin Ceaser added 18 points off the bench hitting 8-of-12 from the floor and 2-of-3 from 3-point range and R.J. Blakney added 14 points going 5-of-6 from field and 3-of-4 from 3-point range. As a team, the Monarchs drained 11 3-pointers and out-rebounded Arkansas 39-35.
Jenkins leads the team in scoring at 19 points per game, followed by Tyrone Williams averaging 11.3 per contest. Dericko Williams leads on the boards at eight per game, with Williams following at 6.3 per contest and Jenkins at 5.7 per game.
ODU is averaging 72 points per game, hitting .459 from the field (85-of-185) and .380 from 3-point range (19-of-50). The Monarchs are out-rebounding their opponents by seven per contest.
About Princeton
Princeton moved to 4-0 on the year after an 82-57 win over Monmouth on the road on Saturday. They are the only unbeaten team in NCAA Division I to not have played a home game yet this season.
The Tigers received 10 votes in the Associated Press poll announced on Monday.
Matt Allocco was named Ivy League Player of the Week after averaging 21 points per game, shooting 76.2% from the field, 85.7% from 3-point range in wins over Duquesne and Monmouth.
Four of the five starters for Princeton average in double figures with Allocco leading at 19 points per game, Xaivien Lee following at 16 ppg, Caden Pierce at 15 points and a team-high 12 rebounds and Blake Peters at 10.5 per game.
