NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's basketball team returns to action on Saturday night hosting East Carolina at Chartway Arena for a 7 p.m. tip.

The game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Scott Jackson and Billy Mann on the call starting at 7 p.m. ESPN Radio 94.1FM will have the radio broadcast with Matt Hatfield and Dave Twardzik on the call starting at 6:30 p.m. with the Toyota Pregame Show.
LAST TIME OUT
Old Dominion fell to Davidson 66-61 in the fifth-place game of the Shriners Children's Charleston Classic on Sunday afternoon in Charleston, S.C. Ben Stanley had a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead Old Dominion. Chaunce Jenkins added 11 points and five assists, while Tyreek Scott-Grayson chipped in 10 points. Stanley was joined in double figure rebounds by Mekhi Long who also had 10 boards.
East Carolina went 2-1 at the Gulf Coast Showcase earlier this week falling to Indiana State (79-75), while defeating Toledo (86-75) and University of Texas-Arlington (79-65). Against UT-Arlington, Javon Small scored a game-high 18 points and added six rebounds to lead the Pirates. RJ Felton added 16 points and 13 rebounds, while Wynston Tabbs added 16 points hitting 3-of-5 from 3-point range.
SERIES HISTORY
Old Dominion holds a 38-16 lead in the series. Last year, these teams met twice with ECU winning both. At the Myrtle Beach Invitational, the Pirates won 73-60, while in Greenville, N.C. a few days later ECU took a 63-62 decision. The last meeting at Chartway Arena was in the 2013-14 season when both teams were members of Conference USA and the Monarchs won 68-47.
SEASON LEADERS
Stanley leads the Monarchs in scoring at 15.5 points per game and is averaging 5.3 rebounds per contest. Scott-Grayson joins him in double figures averaging 12.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and leads the team in assists with 21. Also in double figures for ODU is Jenkins with 11.7 points per game. Long is just off that pace at 9.2 points but leads in rebounds at 9.5 per game.
East Carolina is topped in scoring by Small at 20.8 points per game, while Brandon Johnson averages 14.8 points and a team-high 9.8 rebounds per game. Felton adds 11.5 points and 5.2 rebounds per contest.

ODU students can register for student tickets for free to any ODU men's and women's home game.
