NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's golf team continues its fall season this Monday and Tuesday at the River Run Collegiate, hosted by Davidson at River Run Country Club.
 
Monday will see the 100-player field play the first two rounds, beginning with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Tuesday's third and final round will have teams tee off from the first and 10th holes starting at 8 a.m. Fans can follow along with live stats, available on Golfstat.
 
In addition to ODU and Davidson, the field will also include Appalachian State, Dayton, Drexel, East Carolina, Eastern Michigan, Gardner-Webb, George Mason, Howard, Marshall, Ohio, Presbyterian, Queens, Radford, William & Mary and Winthrop.
 
At last year's River Run Collegiate, ODU combined for a 23-over par 893 to tie for fifth alongside George Mason. Charlotte won the tournament with a 15-under 849 and Marshall was the runner-up at 16-over 880. Gustav Fransson and Rasmus Konradsson led the Monarchs as they both posted five-over 221s to tie for 16th. Charlotte's Matt Sharpstene and Ben Woodruff finished first and second with three-round totals of 207 (-9) and 208 (-8), respectively.
 
The Monarchs opened their fall 2022 season at the VCU Shootout last week, where they tied for sixth with a 23-under par 841. Jakob Chicoyne fired a 13-under 203 to finish tied for third, Philip Minnehan was next for ODU and tied for 17th with an 8-under 208, and Kazuki Yamauchi carded an even score of 216 to tie for 42nd. Jacob Gunther and Kaijun Ma both recorded 218s (+2) to tie for 52nd.
