NORFOLK, Va.
-- The Old Dominion women's soccer team returns to action on Thursday night heading up Interstate 64 to Williamsburg for a 7 p.m. kick against the Tribe of William & Mary.

Old Dominion (0-1) enters the match after a tough 1-0 setback on August 18 at Auburn, while the Tribe dropped both matches on the opening weekend falling to Virginia Tech (4-3) and George Washington (1-0).

Erin Jones made her collegiate debut at Auburn and made three saves as ODU kept the pressure on Auburn throughout the second half.  The Monarchs held a distinct possession advantage in the final 45 minutes but were unable to tally an equalizer.

ODU has won the last two meetings with William & Mary scoring a 1-0 win on Aug. 26, 2021, in Williamsburg and a 5-0 decision on Sept. 15, 2019 at home.
