Swimming Finishes Final Night at NIC

ELKHART, Ind. – Old Dominion University swimming swam the final night at the National Invitational Championships on Saturday in Elkhart Indiana and had two of its best finishes of the week.

 

In the final event of the night, ODU had its best finish of the day coming in 12th in the 400 freestyle relay. Liam Redman, Ryan Lincicum, Russell Hronek and Noah Wilkins finished with a time of 3:00.42.

 

Carson Doll led ODU in the men's 1650 freestyle with a time of 15:50.01 to finish in 13th. Thomas Ray added a 36th place finish with a time of 16:50.19. 

 

Tara Enneking earned a 26th place finish in the women's 100 IM with a time of 57.97. Martina Ciriesi added a 48th place spot with a time of 59.12.

 

In the men's 100 IM Hugo Eriksson took 23rd with a time of 51.50. Jacob Cobb finished with a time of 52.93 to place 34th.

 

Gustaf Hansson finished 24th in the men's 200 backstroke with a time of 1:52.25.

 

Noah Wilkins tied for fourth in the B-Final of the men's 100 freestyle to place 14th with a time of 44.17. Liam Redman finished in 40th with a time of 45.52. Ryan Lincicum placed 55th with a time of 46.30.

 

In the men's 200 butterfly, Oskar Iwarsson finished in 28th with a time of 1:54.50.

 

In the final event of the week, the women's 400 freestyle relay placed 21st. The team of Laila Webb, Mary Dunworth, Summer Miln and Enneking finished with a time of 3:27.29.
