NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion men's basketball team will hit the road for an important week of games starting with a makeup contest at Florida Atlantic on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. This game is a makeup from a Jan. 1 game postponed due to COVID-19 issues.
ODU (9-13, 4-5) enters the game after falling 77-60 to Western Kentucky on Saturday night. C.J. Keyser leads the team in scoring averaging 15 points per game, while Austin Trice follows him at 12.1 points per game and leads in rebounding at 7.8 per contest. Joining those two in double figures is Kalu Ezikpe at 11.3 points per game and is third in rebounding at 6.8 per game. Jaylin Hunter is averaging 9.9 points and leads the team in assists at 4.5 per game.
The Monarchs are averaging 66.8 points and allowing the same. From the field, ODU is hitting .436 while opponents are hitting at a .425 clip. Behind the arc, ODU is hitting .303 while allowing opponents a .353 clip. They're outrebounding opponents 36.8 to 33.1 per game.
Florida Atlantic (14-9, 7-3) is currently in first place in the East Division after defeating Southern Mississippi 84-57 on Saturday.
