NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's basketball team starts a stretch of three home games in its final four games to close out the regular season on Thursday night when they face Florida Atlantic at Chartway Arena.
 
On Saturday, the Monarchs host FIU.  Both games tip at 7 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
The Monarchs enter the weekend after falling 73-64 to WKU on Saturday night in Bowling Green, Ky.  C.J. Keyser leads the Monarchs in scoring at 14.4 points per game, while Austin Trice is behind him averaging 12.7 points and a team-best 8.8 rebounds per game.  Kalu Ezikpe is the other double figure scorer averaging 11.1 points per game, while Jaylin Hunter is just off that pace at 9.9 points and a team-high 4.4 assists per game.
 
Florida Atlantic, who defeated ODU 81-62 on Feb. 8 in Boca Raton, Fla., enters with a 15-12 record and an 8-6 mark in conference play.  They have lost their last three games including an 87-79 decision to Middle Tennessee on Saturday night.    Michael Forrest leads the team in scoring at 14.1 ppg, with Alijah Martin leading them in rebounds per game (5.3) and steals (1.6).  Vladislav Golden tops them in blocks per game (1.1) and Bryan Greenlee leads in assists (3.6) per game.
 
FIU, which lost to ODU 82-77 on December 30, will have played at Charlotte on Thursday night before heading to Norfolk.  The Panthers are 15-12 overall and 5-9 in conference play after defeating Rice 80-78 on Saturday.  Tevin Brewer leads FIU in scoring averaging 15.6 per game and in assists at 5.9 per game, while Clevon Brown leads them in rebounding at 5.3 per game. 
 
The Monarchs hold the overall series lead with both teams sporting an 11-4 advantage on FAU and a 9-2 lead on FIU.
