NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University men's swimming maintained its hold on fourth place at the CCSA Championships with one day remaining.
Noah Wilkins worked his way to a fifth-place finish in the 100 backstroke with a time of 49.46, while Gustaf Hansson came in eighth with a time of 50.13. Oskar Iwarsson added a 17th place spot with a time of 53.87.
In the 100 breaststroke, Peter Durisin finished in sixth place with a time of 56.75. AJ Profaca added a 12thplace finish with a time of 58.78.
The Monarchs came in fourth in the 4X200 relay with a time of 6:42.24. The team of Wilkins, Carson Doll, Thomas Ray and Ryan Lincicum were on the team.
In the final event of the night, Anthony Capizzi earned an eighth-place finish with a time of 1:52.59, Oskar Iwarsson finished ninth in 1:54.53 and Zander Johnson was 10th with a time of 1:52.41.
The final day of competition begins tomorrow at 10 a.m. with prelims and finals at 6 p.m.
