Men's Basketball Hosts VCU For Whiteout Night Saturday

NORFOLK, Va.
– The Old Dominion men's basketball team plays one of its two December home games on Saturday night at 8 p.m. hosting the Rams of VCU in a Whiteout Game.  Fans are encouraged to wear white and the first 1,000 fans and first 1,000 students will receive official ODU whiteout t-shirts.
 
This game will be viewable on Stadium Network with Chris Hassel on play-by-play and Tim Scarborough on color commentary.  
 
ODU (5-5) enters the game after winning its last two games defeating George Mason (60-50) on December 4 and William & Mary (74-59) on Tuesday night.  The Rams are 5-4 after defeating Jacksonville State 66-52 on Wednesday night.
 
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. VCU
The Rams lead the all-time series 52-44 and have won nine of the last 11 meetings.  Old Dominion last won at home in 2018-19 defeating VCU 62-52.
 
ABOUT ODU
Against the Tribe, ODU had five players in double figures for the first time this season with Kalu Ezikpe leading with 18 points, eight rebounds, four blocks and four steals.  Joining him in double figures were: Jaylin Hunter (16 pts, 7 assists, 7 rebounds), DeAngelo Stines (13 points), Mekhi Long (11 points, 7 rebounds) and C.J. Keyser (10 points, 3 assists).
 
The Monarchs are averaging 62.9 points per game and allowing 63.0 through the first 10 games.  Keyser leads three in double figures for ODU averaging 13.2 points per contest, while Ezikpe is averaging 11.9 points and a team-high 7.1 rebounds per game and Hunter is averaging 10.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game.
 
 
ABOUT VCU
Three Rams are in double figures scoring with Adrian Baldwin Jr., averaging 13 points per game to lead VCU.  Vince Williams is second at 10.6 points and leads the team in rebounds at 5.0, while Nunn is also averaging 10.6 points per game. 
 
As a team, the Rams are scoring 58.3 points per game and allowing 56.9 per contest.  The Rams are being out-rebounded by over six per game, while they're forcing 18 turnovers per contest.

Men's basketball season tickets cost $215 and include tickets for the Monarchs' exhibition on Nov. 6 and all 14 of ODU's regular season home games. Women's basketball season tickets cost $115 for adults and $250 for courtside seating and include tickets to all 15 of the Monarchs' home games. Special pricing is available for senior citizens, ODU faculty and staff, and members of the military. Call the ODU Ticket Office at 757-683-4444 to receive special pricing. New this season, fans can select season tickets for men's games in section 108 for the promotional price of $110. For women's games, fans can select season tickets from sections 107, 108, and 109 for the price of $75.
 
Season tickets represent a savings of more than $50 for men's games and $45 for women's games, over single-game tickets. Single-game ticket prices start at $18 for men's games and $11 for women's games, with special pricing for senior citizens, ODU faculty and staff, youth (12 and younger) and members of the military. ODU students can register for student tickets for free to any ODU men's and women's home game.
