NORFOLK, Va. – Oliver Nolan, Oliver Tobisch, Codie van Schalkwyk and Michael Walser of the Old Dominion men's tennis team are set to commence the fall portion of the season at the Elon Invitational on September 24-26 at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center in North Carolina.
"First of all, we are just excited to have a fall season again and get many matches under our belt before the spring season starts," said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller. "Every player will get plenty of opportunities to prove himself and compete."
This weekend will mark the first collegiate matches for freshmen van Schalkwyk and Walser, as well as the first time Nolan will put on an ODU uniform, as he transferred to Old Dominion from UNC Asheville. Tobisch is set to embark on his junior season for the Monarchs.
