NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women's golf team commences its competition schedule at the William & Mary Fall Invitational, which runs Sept. 12-13 at the Kingsmill Resort River Course in Williamsburg, Virginia. Live scoring of the event will be available on Golfstat.
The Monarchs will be squaring off against 14 other teams. The first 36 holes of the event are scheduled for Sunday with the final round on Monday.
ODU placed fifth at the Conference USA Championship in late April and saw Leah Onosato receive an at-large individual bid to the NCAA Columbus Regional. Onosato led the Monarchs with a 74.0 stroke average in the spring en route to First Team VaSID All-State and Second Team All-C-USA honors. Jana Melichova was second on the team with a 74.2 scoring average and was named Third Team All-Conference USA.
"We've got great depth this year. I think we've probably got the most depth since 2018-19, which was arguably the best team in the history of our program."
