CHARLESTON, S.C. – Old Dominion University sailing placed fourth at the Charleston Spring Team Race on Sunday in Charleston.
The Monarchs placed fourth with an 8-7 record. The skippers for the Monarchs were Bridget Groble, Parker Purrington, Hannah Pokorny and John Glenn, while Abigail Tutt, Emily Harrison and Katherine Barton were crew.
The Monarchs began the first round with wins over College of Charleston and South Florida. In the second round, ODU went 3-2 with wins over the Cougars, Tulane and South Florida.
ODU finished the final round with the same 3-2 record, completing its third win over CofC, Jacksonville and USF.
