NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion men's tennis team (6-1) was too much for Nebraska (1-5), as the Monarchs downed the Huskers by a 5-0 score on Sunday afternoon at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. ODU has now won three straight matches and is 5-0 at home. Old Dominion has now outscored its opponents 33-10 so far this season.

"Today was our most complete match of the season," said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller. "We talked about starting fast and finishing strong before the match and I think we did an excellent job doing that today. I'm proud of all our guys stepping up this weekend. We had to deal with some injuries and pull guys in and out of the lineup and it didn't affect us. Now we got to get a little healthier with a quick turn-around for next Friday."

The Monarchs will return to the courts on Friday, Feb. 14, when ODU hosts Liberty for a 6:00 p.m. start at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
