NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's basketball team (11-16, 7-7 C-USA) will travel to Huntington, W.V. for the second time in a little over a month for a showdown against Marshall (13-14, 7-7 C-USA) on Saturday, Feb. 22 at 7:00 p.m. ET, which marks the first game of Conference USA's Bonus Play format for both teams this season. Saturday night's contest will stream on ESPN3.

Saturday night's game will also air across the ODU Sports Radio Network, with Ted Alexander and Dave Twardzik's live pregame show beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET.
All-Time Series vs. Marshall:
Saturday night will mark the 22nd all-time meeting between these two programs, as ODU leads the all-time series 11-10. Old Dominion is 3-7 all-time when playing Marshall in Huntington. These two programs met earlier this season on Jan. 18, when Marshall escaped with a 68-67 victory in Huntington. The Thundering Herd defeated the Monarchs in Norfolk last season by a 70-67 score. These two schools first met during the 1966-67, in a game the Thundering Herd won 105-103. Since both teams were members of Conference USA, ODU leads the series, 7-6.

Aaron Carver currently has 642 career rebounds, which ranks 25th all-time for the ODU basketball program. Carver needs two more rebounds to catch Jay Rountree (71-75), 15 more to catch Tom Street (72-75) and 16 more to catch Reggie Bassette (95-99). Carver's father, Anthony, ranks 17th on ODU's all-time career rebounding list with 755 boards. Anthony Carver also ranks 5th on Old Dominion's all-time career scoring list with 1,958 points.
Marshall:
Dan D'Antoni, a Marshall Athletics Hall of Famer, is in the midst of his 6th season at the helm in Huntington. The Thundering Herd enter Saturday night's contest with a 13-14 overall mark and a 7-7 record in league play.
The Herd is coming off a 71-61 victory against UTEP in El Paso last weekend. Marshall is 8-6 when playing on its own hardwood this season.
Leading the way for Marshall so far this season are Tavion Kinsey (16.0 ppg) and Jarrod West (14.4 ppg).
