NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's tennis team swept both George Washington (2-4) and Morgan State (5-2) by a 4-0 score on Sunday at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. With the wins, ODU is now 9-1 for the season, which is its best start since the 2015 season.
The Monarchs improved their home record to 8-0 record at home. ODU has outscored its opponents 47-11 so far this season. Old Dominion has now won six straight matches.
"I'm very happy how we approached this weekend," said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller. "We knew going into it that it would be a lot of tennis and the guys didn't hold back. We took care of our home court this past two weekends and now we are looking forward to show the same level of consistency on the road facing six away matches in a row."
