NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men's tennis team (6-1) will host three matches this weekend at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center, beginning on Friday, Feb. 14, when ODU hosts Liberty for a 6:00 p.m. start. To celebrate Valentine's Day, chocolate and fresh fruit will be given out to the fans. On Sunday, Feb. 16, the Monarchs will have a double-header against George Washington at 10:00 a.m. and Morgan State at 2:00 p.m.
Old Dominion enters the week with a 5-0 record at home. ODU has outscored its opponents 33-10 so far this season. The Tennis Monarchs have won three straight matches.
ODU's Luca Maldoner is nationally ranked No. 111 in singles, while Francois Musitelli and teammate Jannik Giesse are nationally ranked No. 47 in doubles.
Liberty enters the week with a 4-2 overall record and is coming off a 4-3 at Virginia Tech.
George Washington currently boasts a 2-2 record and will take on William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va. on Saturday before coming to Norfolk.
Morgan State is 4-1 so far this season and riding a two-match win-streak.
