NORFOLK, Va. – Francois Musitelli/Jannik Giesse of the Old Dominion men's tennis team jumped up a spot in the most recent ITA Doubles Rankings, while teammate Luca Maldoner went from unranked to the No. 93 ranked player in the country.
"These individual rankings reflect the hard work Luca, Francois and Jannik put in during the fall," said ODU head coach Dominik Mueller. "I'm very happy for them and I think this should give our entire team confidence for the upcoming dual match season."
Last month, Musitelli/Giesse won the ITA Atlantic Region Doubles Championship in Charlottesville, while Maldoner advanced to the Singles Championship, earning bids to the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships, where both Musitelli/Giesse and Maldoner earned a victory over nationally ranked opponents.
