TULSA, Okla. – Francois Musitelli and Jannik Giesse of the ODU men’s tennis team have been selected to compete in the 2019 ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla. beginning on Oct. 5 at the LaFortune Tennis Center and Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Musitelli was the only player from Conference USA to earn a spot in the Qualifying Singles Draw. Giesse was the only student-athlete from the C-USA to be selected in the Qualifying Singles Alternate Draw.
Musitelli and Giesse will team up together to play in the Qualifying Doubles Draw, which is one of three duos from Conference USA.
In the first ITA Rankings of the year, Musitelli is ranked No. 120 for singles. Musitelli and Giesse are nationally ranked No. 47 for doubles by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
