NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team (8-7-4, 5-3-2 C-USA) fell to LA Tech (13-5-2, 5-3-2 C-USA) in overtime by a 3-2 score in the Quarterfinals of the 2018 Air Force Reserve Women's Soccer Championship on Wednesday night at the ODU Soccer Complex.

The Monarchs had a 2-0 lead 54 minutes into the match, but three unanswered LA Tech goals would lift the Lady Techsters to victory.

Raegan Tate scored her first career goal off a cross from Kyra Ricks in the 43 minute to give Old Dominion a 1-0 lead heading into halftime.

Three minutes into the second half, Ricks found Amanda Nhek, who gave ODU a 2-0 lead in the 48th minute. The goal was Nhek’s sixth of the season, which leads the team.

Elizabeth Doll cut LA Tech’s deficit in half in the 55th minute off a pass from Jaelyn Peeples, giving Doll her fourth goal of the year.

In the 86th minute, Hanna Banks scored an unassisted goal to tie the match at 2-2 to force overtime.

Four minutes into the first overtime session, Mylene Roy-Ouellet scored her seventh goal of the season off a pass from Connor Barker to send the Lady Techsters into the semifinals on Friday night.

Old Dominion’s Jasmine Crawley was credited with six saves on the night. For the contest, ODU held a 7-3 advantage for corner kicks.
