NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion women's soccer team tied its season high with four goals en route to a 4-1 victory over Richmond on Sunday at the ODU Soccer Complex.
Morgan Hall, Emily Roberts, Blair Vilov and Kira Laurento scored goals for ODU (3-3-2). Natalie Johnson recorded two assists and Iris Achterhof added one assist.
The Monarchs scored three goals in the first 36+ minutes of play and carried a 3-1 lead into halftime. ODU then tallied another goal early in the second half to seal the win.
Richmond (0-8-0) scored its lone goal on a penalty kick.
ODU outshot the Spiders, 25-6, and also held an 11-2 advantage in penalty kicks.
Erin Davidson picked up the win in net for ODU, making one save.
Up next, the Monarchs open Conference USA play at LA Tech next Friday.
