We weren't sure what to expect with our new team but looks like we're still pretty good, said head coach Mallory Hetzel. "It's going to be a lot of fun this weekend to see a bunch of top 25 teams at Michigan State. We welcome the challenge and hope to play our best."
The Monarchs opened the tournament on Sunday in the lead with a 282-team score. After round two, ODU was in second after posting a school record 18-hole team total of 280, two strokes better than their prior school record. In the final round, ODU posted a 278, which again broke the school record from the day before.
