LANCASTER, Pa. -- A total of eight Old Dominion field hockey players will compete in next week's 2018 Young Women's National Championship in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, from June 25-29. The event is held at Spooky Nook Sports, the home of USA Field Hockey.
The following ODU players (team name in parentheses) will be competing:

The YWNC is an annual event featuring the most elite female field hockey athletes in the country, including top collegiate and post-collegiate players.
Over the spring, select athletes tried out and trained at USA Field Hockey Regional High Performance sites throughout the country for an opportunity to earn a roster position. These teams will face off for the prestigious title of national champions and for an opportunity to be selected to the U.S. U-21 Women’s National Team or U.S. Women's National Development Squad.
