NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's sailing sits in 12th place after the first day of the Sperry Eastern Semifinals on Tuesday.
Racing will begin again tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. with the top nine in the two semifinals advancing to the finals on Thursday.
The Division A team of Olivia Windemuller and Emily Harrison finished in 12th in their division. In eight races, the duo had three top-10 finishes, including a high finish of fourth.
Division B featured Bridget Groble, Hannah Pokorny and Abigail Lockler and finished in 14th in the division. Out of six races, the team had a pair of eighth place finishes.
