NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion women's golf team begins its spring season this week at the UCF Challenge at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Orlando, Florida. Live scoring for the event is available on GolfStat.
Action begins on Sunday and concludes on Tuesday.
The Monarchs are coming off of a successful fall in which they placed in the top half of the field in all three tournaments they competed in. At the Pinehurst Challenge, ODU had its best result, placing third, and also set a new program record for a 54-hole score with an 859.
Senior all-conference performers Maggie Simmermacher and Katerina Vlasinova headline the 2017-18 squad and are both ranked in the GolfStat individual rankings. Simmermacher is No. 103 and Vlasinova is No. 109.
ODU competed in the UCF Challenge a year ago placing 15th.
