NORFOLK, Va. --
The Old Dominion field hockey team welcomes Big East foe Quinnipiac and No. 18 William & Mary to the L.R. Hill Sports Complex this weekend.

The Monarchs (5-7, 2-2 Big East) host Quinnipiac on Friday at 5 p.m., before taking on the Tribe on Sunday at noon. Both games will be streamed live on Monarch Media.

ODU is coming off one of its best performances of the season after defeating Temple, 4-0, at L.R. Hill last weekend. The Monarchs are now 5-1 at home this season and have outscored their opponents, 23-11, in those games.

Individually, Erin Huffman (8g, 1a) continues to lead the squad in scoring, while Alexa Ostoich (6g, 2a) and Danielle Grega (4g, 4a) also have double-digit point totals for the season. Freshman back Cameran Nery-Strickland (0g, 6a) leads the team in assists, while fellow freshmen Mia Fucci (1g, 1a), Anouck Vandersteen (1a) and Alexis Gingerich have also had key contributions.

Defensively, redshirt freshman Lacey Frazier has started the last two games in goal and posted three saves against Temple to help ODU secure its first shutout of the season.

Old Dominion is 2-1 all-time against Quinnipiac and 47-12 against William & Mary.

The Tribe will be the Monarchs' seventh ranked opponent this season. ODU is 1-5 against ranked foes.
