NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University Football practiced for the final time this spring at Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium.
The final practiced was a scrimmage, spring game 2.0, with the Blue Team topping the White Team 7-0. The only score of the game came on the opening drive with a six-yard touchdown run by Ray Lawry. Lawry's score was set up by a 30-yard reception by Lawry from Blake LaRussa.
Joe Joe Headen and Juwan Ross came up with pass breakups for the defense, while Miles Fox and Tim Ward had sacks for the defense. Prince Ajegwu intercepted the final hail mary pass in the end zone to secure the win for the Blue Team.
ODU opens the 2017 regular season at Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 2 against Albany.
