NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion women's lacrosse team continues Atlantic Sun play this weekend with home matches against Mercer and Kennesaw State. The Lady Monarchs take on Mercer on Friday at 7 p.m. and Kennesaw State on Sunday at 12 p.m. at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex.

Friday night is the Championship Effort game and the sunday game is the annual Team Impact game and also features a free youth post-game clinic. Live stats and video ($) will both be available for both contests, as well as live in-game Twitter updates via @ODULacrosse.

Old Dominion (9-3, 2-1 A-Sun) had its five-game winning streak snapped last weekend, falling to reigning A-Sun champ Jacksonville. The Lady Monarchs currently sit in a tie for third place in the conference standings with Mercer, behind first-place Jacksonville (3-0) and second-place Furman (3-1).

Ashmore Standing leads the conference in both scoring with 46 points and goals with 39. Morgan Marrale ranks second on the team with 30 points on 17 goals and 13 assists and goalkeeper Maggi Buckley leads the defense with a 9.47 goals against average, which ranks second in the A-Sun.

Mercer (5-7, 1-2 A-Sun) enters Friday having won four of its last six games, including conference victories over Stetson and Kennesaw State. The Bears' lone A-Sun loss is a 20-2 defeat to Jacksonville. Lindsey Zeltwanger leads the Bears with 35 points on 18 goals and 17 assists.

Kennesaw State (3-8, 1-2 A-Sun) has won three of its last five games after starting the season 0-6. In conference play, the Owls defeated Stetson by a one-goal margin, but fell to Jacksonville, 22-4, and Mercer, 13-5. Olivia Hokanson leads the Owls in both goals and points with 25 and 31, respectively. Kennesaw State plays Howard on Friday before taking on ODU.
