2017 (Sr): Buckley was the voice of the ODU defense starting all 18 games in goal for the Lady Monarchs ... The senior captain helped ODU to a 9-9, 5-5 record while collecting a personal season best 162 saves ... At the beginning of the season she had 306 career saves sitting 9th in the ODU record book ... She bypassed her head coach, Heather Holt (386), and finished her career with 468 career saves sitting fourth in the record book ... Buckley led the team in ground balls with 47 and has 139 in her career good enough for 6th for career ground balls ... Her career GAA of 10.43 also placed her in the top ten in the career records ... Had a season-high six ground balls against William & Mary (3/15) ... PREP: Buckley was a four-year varsity starter and two-year captain, who accumulated 673 saves throughout her high school career ...
