NORFOLK, Va. – UTSA (5-24, 3-13 C-USA) will visit the Ted Constant Convocation Center Saturday night at 8:00 p.m on Senior Night for the Monarchs’ final home game of the regular season. ODU is still vying for one of the top four seeds to ensure a first round bye in the conference tournament. The game will air on American Sports Network.

The Monarchs are 1-2 all-time against the Roadrunners. UTSA grabbed a 72-67 win in the teams’ last meeting on Feb. 12, 2015.

Old Dominion will celebrate Martin Shaw, Nik Biberaj, Aaron Bacote and Trey Freeman at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT FOR OLD DOMINION

Old Dominion used a dominant first half to earn a wire-to-wire 74-53 victory over UTEP on Thursday evening at the Ted Constant Center, snapping the Miners' six-game winning streak. The win bumped Old Dominion past UTEP in the Conference USA standings, as the Miners headed into the game one spot ahead of the Monarchs.

Brandan Stith and Zoran Talley each finished with double-doubles for the Monarchs. Stith tallied 16 points and 15 rebounds for his seventh double-double of the season, while Talley ended with 16 points and 10 rebounds for his first career double-double. Trey Freeman also scored in double figures for ODU with 14 points, while Ahmad Caver added nine points, four rebounds and three assists off the bench. Aaron Bacote also finished with nine points.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS FOR OLD DOMINION

For the season, Trey Freeman is leading the way for the Monarchs averaging 21.1 ppg and 3.8 rpg. Aaron Bacote is averaging 12.8 points a contest, while Brandan Stith is netting 10.6 ppg to compliment 9.5 boards per contest. Zoran Talley is averaging 8.6 points and 5.0 rebounds, while Nik Biberaj is chipping in 5.0 points per outing to go along with 3.6 boards.

Old Dominion is averaging 67.4 points a game, while holding opponents to 62.2 points on 43.6% shooting from the floor and 28.7% from long-range. The Monarchs turn the ball over 9.2 times per game, while forcing opponents into an average of 11.0 forced turnovers per contest.

MEET UTSA
The Roadrunners (5-24, 3-13 C-USA) are coming off a 114-108 double-overtime setback against Charlotte Thursday night. UTSA defeated Southern Miss, 74-53, last Saturday to snap a nine-game losing skid that dated back to January 16.

Ryan Bowie leads UTSA in scoring with 18.3 ppg, while Christian Wilson is not far behind with 18.0 ppg.

UTSA allows 84.7 points per game on 50.7% from the field and 40.5% from long range.
