The Old Dominion men's soccer team finished the 2015 season with an 8-5-3 overall record and a 3-3-2 mark in Conference USA play.
With the 8-5-3 mark, head coach Alan Dawson achieved his 17th consecutive season with a winning record. The Monarchs also reeled off an eight-game unbeaten streak from Aug. 30 to Oct. 10, and reached a ranking of No. 9 in the NSCAA Coaches' Poll, the highest ranking for an ODU team since 2012.
The Monarchs' season ended in the quarterfinals of the C-USA Championship with a 4-2 loss to eventual C-USA champion FIU. Following the defeat, the Monarchs were one of the "first teams out" on Selection Monday for the NCAA Tournament.
