UNCASVILLE, Conn. – The 3-0 Old Dominion Monarchs will look to hand No. 21 nationally ranked Purdue (3-0) its first loss of the 2015-16 season in the Semifinals of the Basketball Hall Of Fame Tip-Off Tournament at the Mohegan Sun Arena located in Uncasville, Connecticut. Tip-off slated for 12:00 p.m. EST.

Old Dominion’s Trey Freeman (17.7 ppg) and Aaron Bacote (17.0 ppg) have led the way for the Monarchs in the first three contests, while Denzell Taylor is the team’s leading rebounder, hauling down seven per game to go along with his 6.0 ppg average. Freshman Ahmad Caver currently leads the squad in assists with 10.

On Wednesday night five Monarchs scored in double figures as Old Dominion extended the nation’s fifth longest home win streak to 27 in a 79-48 rout over Morgan State (0-3) at the Ted Constant Convocation Center. ODU’s Aaron Bacote (5-5 FT) led all scorers with 22 to go along with three rebounds and three assists in 24 minutes of work.

Old Dominion held the Bears to 22.2% shooting in the second half and 34.8% for the contest. The Monarchs connected on 92.9% (13-14) of their free-throw attempts on the night. The Monarchs held advantages for points in the paint (51-16), rebounding (42-25) and assists (14-7) for the ballgame.

Denzell Taylor (6-8 FG) provided ODU with a double-double consisting of 12 points and 10 rebounds, while blocking two shots. Nik Biberaj went off for career-highs of 12 points, six rebounds, two steals and two blocks in a team-high 30 minutes. Trey Freeman netted 11 points, while hauling down seven boards and dishing out two assists. Also in double-figures for Old Dominion was true freshman Ahmad Caver, who went 2-3 from deep, 4-4 from the charity stripe in a 10-point and three assists performance.

MEET THE BOILERMAKERS
No. 21 Purdue is now 3-0 for the 18th time in the last 37 seasons and eighth time in 11 seasons under Coach Painter. Purdue has reached the NCAA Tournament in 14 of the previous 17 occurrences.

The Boilermakers now made 39 3-pointers in the first three games of the season and is shooting 44.3 percent (39-of-88) from long distance this year.

Purdue's 59.6 percent shooting from the field on Wednesday against Incarnate Word was its highest since shooting 59.6 percent against Loyola (Illinois) on Nov. 24, 2007. Purdue's rebound margin of +37 (56-19) was the largest margin in school history. Purdue's 56 rebounds were its most since having 57 against Towson on Dec. 30, 1986.

Purdue has scored 95 or more points in back-to-back games for the first time since Dec. 30, 1993 (108 vs. Weber State) to Jan. 2, 1994 (95 vs. San Francisco).

Purdue had at least five players in double figures for the third straight game. Isaac Haas recorded his second career double-double with 17 points, a career-high 12 rebounds and a career-high four blocked shots.

The center tandem of A.J. Hammons and Isaac Haas accounted for 25 points, 18 rebounds and seven blocked shots in just 34 minutes on Wednesday. Hammons moved into 11th on the career rebounds list with 666, and has 262 career blocked shots, one shy of JaJuan Johnson's 263 blocks for second on the all-time list.
