EDMOND, Okla. - Fourteen men's golf teams, four ranked among the Top 75 nationally, are set to tee off Sunday morning as the 2014 Conference USA Men's Golf Championship gets underway at the Oak Tree Country Club in Edmond, Okla.

The championship consists of 54 holes on the par 70, 6,861-yard course over three days, with the winner receiving an automatic berth to the NCAA Regionals. This is the first time the tournament has been hosted at Oak Tree Country Club.
THe ODU Monarch squad will consist of:Ashton Newsom, Seth Sweet, David Langley, Jamison Randall and John Dawson. They will tee off between 9:20 and 9:48 ( CT) on Sunday.
After a blind draw, it was determined that East Carolina, Southern Miss and new member Louisiana Tech would begin Sunday on the first hole at 8 a.m. CDT. North Texas, UAB and UTEP will also tee off from the No. 1 hole at 8:45 a.m. The Blazers rank No. 16 by Golfweek and junior Paul Dunne ranks No. 74 this season and tied for 14th in the 2013 C-USA Championship.
Charlotte and Florida Atlantic tee off at 7:42 a.m. CDT from hole No. 10. The 49ers are making their return to C-USA after an eight-year absence. Charlotte was runner-up in the 2005 C-USA Championship and won the Atlantic 10 Conference title seven of the last eight years and have earned nine-straight NCAA Regional berths.
Marshall, Middle Tennessee and Tulsa tee off at 8:27 a.m. at hole 10. Marshall and Tulsa placed fifth and sixth last season, respectively, while the Blue Raiders are making their debut appearance in the C-USA Championship.
Rounding out C-USA teams in action will be Old Dominion, Rice and UTSA with a 9:12 a.m. start from the No. 10 tee. UTSA is also making its first appearance in the C-USA Championship, while Old Dominion is playing in its second C-USA tournament after competing last season as an affiliate member. Rice senior Landon Michelson returns after a Top 20 finish is 2013.
Following Sunday's opening round, the championship will resume with 18 holes played Monday and the final round Tuesday. Pairings will be done by results from the previous rounds. Complete tee times and live scoring of this year's C-USA Men's Golf Championship will be provided by Golfstat.
