NORFOLK, VA-- Former Monarch co-captain Donte Hill ('13) will play professionally in Europe beginning next week. He is going to play in Europe for Barsy-Atyrau in Kazkhstan. Hill is one of atleast 13 former Monarchs playing internationally which includes recent graduates Nick Wright and Chris Cooper.
Nick Wright ('13) is playing in Slovakia, Chris Cooper ('12) who played in the NBA Developmental league is now in Lithuania, and DeShawn Painter started in Belgium and is now in Hungary.

Keyon Carter ('11) - Georgia; Ricardo Marsh ('03) is in Iraq; Frank Hassell in Italy;Trian Iliadis in Australia; Gerald Lee ('11) the CAA Player of Tournament MVP is now in Romania; Alex Loughton ('06) who led the Monarchs to the NCAA and the 2006 NIT semifinals is playing in his native Australia. All-CAA forward Valdas Vasylius is playing in his native Lithuania, while Ricardo Marsh's teammate Rasheed Wright ('03) is in France.
