WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Old Dominion University women's soccer rounds out its regular season Wednesday night at 7 p.m. when they travel to William and Mary.
The Lady Monarchs are 4-13 on the year and 2-7 in CAA action while the Tribe are 13-5 on the year and in first place in the conference with a 7-2 record.
Old Dominion's two conference wins were over Hofstra and Drexel, who were in first and second place respectively, when the Lady Monarchs defeated them.
ODU is led offensively by senior forward Ashlee Coutu who has six goals and an assist on the year for 13 points. Amber Cook is second on the team with four goals and nine points while Taylor Mertz has a team-best five assists.
Laura Bush has played in 13 games in goal and is third in the CAA with 75 saves while Brianna Alvarado has 44 saves and has started seven contests.
William and Mary is led by Mallory Shaffer and Cortlyn Bristol who have 22 points apiece. Shaffer leads with 10 goals and two assists while Bristol has five goals and a CAA best 12 assists.
Caroline Casey has started every game in goal and has a 0.80 goals against average and 72 saves.
This will be the final game for ODU seniors Brianna Alvarado, Laura Bush, Aubrie Ewell, Meghan Cozens, Ashlee Coutu, Kelly Evans and Taylor Mertz.
