NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's soccer plays its final two home games this season starting on Friday when the Lady Monarchs host Hofstra at 7 p.m. ODU hosts Northeastern on Sunday at noon in the final home game of the year.
ODU is led by senior Ashlee Coutu who has five goals and an assists for a team-best 11 points while junior Amber Cook is second on the team with four goals and nine points.
Senior Taylor Mertz leads the squad with four assists while also adding two goals for eight points.
Laura Bush has started the last seven contests in goal, making double-digit saves each of the last three games. Bush has made 68 saves on the year while fellow senior goalkeeper, Brianna Alvarado, has started seven games posting a 1.95 goals against average with 38 saves.
Hofstra is 10-5 on the year and 6-1 in CAA play, with their only league loss a 3-0 setback to Drexel, who ODU defeated earlier in the year.
The Pride are led by Leah Galton, who is second in the conference with eight goals and third with 19 points. Galton leads a squad of four double-digit point scorers, as Lulu Echeverry (17 pts.), Jill Mulholland (16 pts.) and Scolarici (14pts.) all have double-digit points.
Northeastern is 7-8 on the year and 5-2 in CAA play, having won three-straight.
Greta Samuelsdottir leads the Huskies with five goals and two assists for 12 points.
Paige Burnett has started every game this season, making 65 saves with a 1.46 GAA.
ODU will honor its seven seniors; Brianna Alvarado, Laura Bush, Aubrie Ewell, Meghan Cozens, Ashlee Coutu, Kelly Evans and Taylor Mertz, in a ceremony before the game.
