TOWSON, Md. - Old Dominion University women's soccer hits the road this weekend after a season long five-game home stand. The Lady Monarchs travel to Towson on Friday for a 4 p.m. start and head to George Mason Sunday for a 2 p.m. kickoff.
ODU is 2-7 on the year and 0-1 in CAA play. The Lady Monarchs are led on offense by Amber Cook and Ashlee Coutu. Cook has a team best seven points (3G, 1A) while Coutu has five points (2G, 1A). Taylor Mertz and Nikki Clarke have a goal and two assists each.
Brianna Alvarado has started seven games in goal posting a 1.95 goals against average while Laura Bush has appeared in five games, starting two, making 17 saves with a 2.12 GAA.
Towson is 0-9-1 on the year and 0-2 in conference play. Cheyenne Skidmore has scored three goals to lead the squad, as the entire team has just five goals on the year.
Erin Quinn has started all 10 games, posting a 2.69 GAA while making 61 saves.
George Mason is 4-6-1 on the year and 0-1-1 in CAA competition.
Tiana Kallenberger is tied for the CAA lead in goals with seven while Liz Hodges is second on the team with four goals.
Lyndse Hokanson and Briana Kottler have split time in goal, Hokanson leads with a 1.38 GAA and 33 saves while Kottler has a 2.44 GAA and 14 saves.
The Lady Monarchs return home on Thursday, Oct. 4 when they take on Georgia State.
