NORFOLK, VA-- The ODU Baseball Monarchs hit the road to Williamsburg, VA. for athree-game CAA series against the Tribe of William and Mary. Friday's game is at7 p.m. with Saturday a 4 p.m. start and Sunday will be 1 p.m. all at Plumeri Park.

W&M is currently 27-18 overall and 10-11 in the CAA. The Tribe is led in hittingby sophomore infielder Ryan Lindermuth who is hitting .353 with four homers and 36 RBI. He ranks 10th in the CAA in hitting. Freshman Michael Katz is hitting .292 with a team best eight homers and 43 RBI.

The Tribe weekend rotation will be junior righthander Brett Koehler (4-1/3.12 ERA) on Friday, senior Matt Davenport (6-3/1.83 ERA) on Saturday and senior lefthander Cole Shain (5-2/3.11 ERA) on Sunday. Davenport ranks second in the CAA in ERA, while Koehler is eighth.

Last year, the Tribe won two of the three games at the Bud Metheny Baseball Complex.

ODU is led in hitting by freshman outfielder Josh Eldridge with .308 batting average and four triples wiht 24 RBI.. Senior shortstop Josh Wright is hitting .293 with a team best 43 runs scored and 14-16 in stolen bases. Wright has six homersand three triples.

Senior catcher Josh Tutwiler is hitting .281 wiht seven homers and 26 RBI, whilefellow senior Chris Baker is hitting .274 with seven homers and a team best 37 RBI.Baker ranks fifth in the CAA i RBI while Wright is fifth in the CAA in runs scored.

ODU's weekend rotation will be freshman Connor Overton (0-2/7.06 ERA) on Friday night, senior Ben Tomchick (2-4/5.04 ERA) on Saturday and freshman Greg Tomchick(1-2/4.66 ERA) on Sunday. Reliever Brandon Smith is tied with Tyler McSwain of UNCW for wins in the CAA at 7-1, while Ben Tomchick ranks third and tied with W&M's MattDavenport with 62 strikeouts.

ODU returns home on the eighth to play Longwood at 6 p.m.
