KINGS POINT, N.Y. - The Old Dominion sailing team competed in three different events this past weekend, including the MAISA Men's Singlehanded Championships.

Gavin Rudolph led three Monarchs at the conference singlehanded regatta, claiming 12th overall. He was followed by Collin Leon in 13th and Evan Hoffmann in 15th. Rudolph posted two Top-10 results and finished as high as seventh in the second race.

At the Hobart & William Smith Fall Intersectional, ODU finished 12th in an 18-team field. Zach Runci and Shannon Wilkins sailed to a solid ninth-place result in the B-Division, while Brady Stagg and Julia Wiesner ended the regatta in 11th-place in A-Division racing.

Stagg and Wiesner posted four Top-10 finishes, including a victory in the fourth race. Runci and Wilkins finished in the Top 10 in all but two races.

Light wind at the Navy Fall Women's Intersectional Regatta allowed only one day of sailing to be complete. The Lady Monarchs finished 15th overall with Corina Radtke and Jessica Milligan posting the best result of the weekend, a 12th-place showing in A-Division.

ODU sailing returns to action October 15-16 at the Navy Fall Intersectional and the Yale Women's Intersectional.
